In April, 500,000 CFL bulbs were made available to members of the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus through a grant from the Northern Illinois Energy Project (NIEP) and the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance. NIEP is a partnership between the Citizens Utility Board, City of Chicago, and Cook County State’s Attorney’s office.
As a result, the village has 18,000 free CFL bulbs to distribute while supplies last. Please bring proof of residency to one of the following locations to pick up your four bulbs.

Are the 4 CFL bulbs available to Hoffman Estates residents who belong to the Schaumburg District Township? or are they only for Schaumburg residents?

These bulbs were given to members of the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus through a grant from the Northern Illinois Energy Project (NIEP) and the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance.
