Earth hourBe a part of Earth Hour on March 19, 2016 by turning off your lights at 8:30 p.m. local time for one hour.

Earth Hour Global and the World Wildlife Fund are asking individuals, businesses, governments and organizations around the world to turn off their lights for one hour – Earth Hour – to make a global statement of concern about climate change and to demonstrate commitment to finding solutions.

According to the World Wildlife Fund, participants in last year’s Earth Hour in the United States included the Empire State Building, Times Square, the Las Vegas Strip and the United Nations headquarters.

You can make a statement by participating.  For one hour, you can come to the dark side!

I didn’t know about the lights out hour, I don’t think I will be home at that time so all my lights will be off but I will let my friends and family know about turning out their lights for an hour on the 31’st! I think we can all do without power for an hour!
