Palatine Township will be sponsoring a seminar, “Coping With Coyotes,” in response to a citizen’s request.   The seminar will be held at:

Palatine Township
721 S. Quentin Road
Palatine, IL
Friday, July 22 at 7:30 p.m.

There has been a lot of concern recently due to a few pets being killed by coyotes. The seminar will help residents understand the dos and don’ts, as well as what can and cannot be done to keep the coyotes at bay.

For further information contact Palatine Township Trustee Sharon Langlotz-Johnson at 847-358-6700.

We keep building an endless sea of strip malls and condos and townhouses and wonder why we are seeing more wild life, where are they to go? This is very disturbing and we all should take a deep breath and ask ourselves,,,,,,do I really need another place to get a Slurpee………it’s ridiculous and has to STOP NOW!!!!!!!!!!! Keep Fluffy indoors at night and she or he will be fine, every time I see a for sale sign on a piece of vacant land or a zoning board meeting sign I get sick to my stomach and quite frankly my soul aches, because I know whats coming. The love of money IS the root of all evil. Can’t wait to move from this area although I will truly miss our wonderful library………
