I have some good news and bad news for you. The good news is that there are places to drop them off. The bad news is that none of the facilities do recycling for free. There is a charge with all of them. They are as follows:

COMPUTER RECYCLING CENTER
7510 Virginia Road
Crystal Lake, IL
815-455-6300
Charge is .50 per pound. Only TVs in plastic cases.

SIMS RECYCLING SOLUTIONS
1600 Harvester Road
West Chicago, IL 60185
(630) 231-6060
Charge is .25 per pound. Hours are 8-12:30 and 1-4.

Best Buy
Any Best Buy will accept televisions for a $10 charge with an offset of a $10 gift card. You may want to give them a heads up since they are not an industrial facility.
