Would you rather donate your computer than recycle it? If so, think about donating it to your local Goodwill store. After donation, Goodwill will determine whether the keyboard, monitor, printer, scanner or other parts are in optimum selling condition. If so, those parts will be made available for sale. If not, they will be packed up–along with the CPU which is never resold–and sent out for recycling. It’s a win/win situation!
